Back Button

The Back Button widget gives your mobile app a one-tap navigation control that returns the user to the previous screen, or closes any open side menu first if one is showing. It mirrors the system-level back gesture and is designed for custom app headers and in-page toolbars where the native browser back is not available.

The button automatically hides itself when there is no history to return to — for example, on the very first screen after launch — so you can place it on any layout without manual visibility logic.

You can add this feature to your app using one of the following methods:

  • Use the [appress_back_button] shortcode
  • Use the Back Button widget in Elementor
  • Use the Back Button element in Bricks Builder
  • Use the Back Button element in Avada Builder
