Versions

The system has three independently versioned components:

Appress App	Site owner (rebuild required)
Mobile App	Mobile app owner (publish to stores)

Plugin

The Appress plugin for WordPress.

• Updated by: WordPress admin, automatically or manually from the WordPress dashboard.

Appress App

The version of Appress used to build your mobile app.

• Updated by: site owner. When a new Appress App version is released, rebuild your mobile app in Appress and submit the update to the App Store and Google Play.

Mobile App

The version of your mobile app published to the App Store and Google Play.

• Set by: the mobile app owner. Each owner defines their own version number, so different apps can have different versions.
• Updated by: the mobile app owner, by rebuilding in Appress and publishing a new version to the stores. End users then install the update from the store.
