Menu Toggle

The Menu Toggle widget controls the left and right side menus of your WordPress mobile app. Tap once to open the side menu, tap again to close. It is most often used as the hamburger icon in the app header, but you can also place it inside content sections, floating buttons, or any custom layout area.

Each instance of the widget targets a single menu — left or right — so if your app uses both, place two instances on the page and configure each one independently. The toggle automatically reflects the current open or closed state of its target menu.

You can add this feature to your app using one of the following methods:

  • Use the [appress_menu_toggle] shortcode
  • Use the Menu Toggle widget in Elementor
  • Use the Menu Toggle element in Bricks Builder
